About Current Events in Africa Web Archive (CEAWA)

CEAWA is a collaborative pilot project led and funded by the Africana Librarians Council Title VI Librarians. This project is dedicated to archiving websites which document current events in African countries. The goal of this project is to identify challenges, develop best practices and, ultimately, gain insights into developing a long-term plan to create permanent archive copies of content-rich websites that are valuable to scholars and students interested in the study of Africa.
